Trump says about his "Trade Wars" being unfair to America...

...hmm...

In 2015 the youthful executive made headlines after he founded Turing Pharmaceuticals, bought the anti-parasitic drug Daraprim and raised its price by 5,000% to $750 (£540) per pill.
Price gouging is not illegal or even unusual in the US pharmaceutical industry

...so one should ask him for his definition of "unfair".

The yelling and foot stomping by foreigners regarding trade, is music to Trump's ears and most American voters.
Ah, but what are your thoughts when it's Yankees doing the screaming?

A $10-alternative to a decades-old product that costs $608.61! That's the signature of price gouging, carried out on the backs of consumers that have to pay for it either directly, via insurance premiums, taxes, or a combination.

The perpetrators such as Mylan - and there are many other pharmaceutical companies engaged in similar strategies, protected by lobbying, patent laws, consolidation, and inscrutable pricing strategies - have become Wall Street heroes. PE firms have muscled into the money-maker to wring out those that pay for it, even as allegations of collusion and price-fixing have become rampant
.
So much for trade - profits yes, price gouging just because the boss wants to spend $2m on a painting :-(

At this stage I would say it is too early to call. But we also have to take into consideration recent court rulings on gerrymandering, a larger than normal number of republican retirements, with at least one case where both senators are to be elected. It also has to be viewed state by state, don't forget Trump had a very narrow margin in a lot of states.
There's a Map here showing how states have swung back and forth since the 2016 election. Table of data below.

Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “Let us realize the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.”

The trend is definitely from good , to bad, to better, to worse,.... to awesome?
Trump's bigoted hypocrisy will lead to a recoil of sanity and justice.
I may well live to see it.

He is the perfect Dixiecrat. Wants to bring back slavery, economic slavery to the Master Race. He envy's Kim, Xi and Putin for having his people be slaves and they aren't his slaves. He covets them. He loves profiteering. After all Allah forbids it, so in his bigot's mind if they are against it, he is for it. He is all the deadly sins in one messenger from Lucifer.

And he is Nixon. He will meet Kim but leave office in disgrace.

Ok...........since that 'bucket of eels' has been overturned, lets discuss racism, antisemitism, and while we're at it misogyny. And who better embodies those shining qualities than one Louis Farrakhan.

And here's part of his current fan club (not including the recently released photo of a smil'n Barack shakin' the hand).

http://dailycaller.com/2018/03/05/house-democrats-ties-to-louis-farrakhan/

"At least seven House Democrats are known to have direct ties to Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, a notorious anti-Semite and racist who has called Jews “satanic” and said white people “deserve to die.

Davis has a personal relationship with Farrakhan and is unbothered by Farrakhan’s position on “the Jewish question,” he told TheDCNF on Sunday. Davis called Farrakhan an “outstanding human being” in an interview with The Daily Caller in February and said he has regularly visited with Farrakhan.

Davis’ office released a statement attributed to the congressman on Monday that attacked TheDCNF for accurately covering his comments. The statement, which did not mention Farrakhan, claimed that anti-Semitism is “antithetical to everything I believe and everything that I work for on a daily basis.” Davis’ attack on reporters covering his claims came after the Anti-Defamation League, a Jewish civil rights organization, blasted the congressman for praising Farrakhan and called on him to denounce the Nation of Islam leader. As of this article, Davis has yet to condemn Farrakhan.

Ellison, the deputy chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), repeatedly attended meetings with Farrakhan while in Congress, according to photos and videos reviewed by TheDCNF and Farrakhan’s own statements.

Ellison is a former Nation of Islam member and once defended Farrakhan against claims of anti-Semitism but claimed in 2006 when he ran for Congress that he had left Farrakhan in his past. The meetings Ellison has since attended with Farrakhan undercut his claims of cutting ties.

Davis compared Ellison’s relationship to Farrakhan to that of a fallen-away Christian’s relationship with Jesus, in his interview with TheDCNF on Sunday.”

California Reps. Maxine Waters and Barbara Lee, Illinois Rep. Danny Davis, Indiana Rep. Andre Carson, Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison, New York Rep. Gregory Meeks and Texas Rep. Al Green have all attended meetings with Farrakhan while in Congress, according to photos, videos and witness accounts of the meetings reviewed by The Daily Caller News Foundation.

With the exception of Davis, the Democratic representatives have ignored repeated requests for comment regarding their relationships with Farrakhan."

Trump the Genius from Karlstad again now on Fair Trade.
https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/972585290857672704
The European Union, wonderful countries who treat the U.S. very badly on trade, are complaining about the tariffs on Steel & Aluminum. If they drop their horrific barriers & tariffs on U.S. products going in, we will likewise drop ours. Big Deficit. If not, we Tax Cars etc. FAIR!

Haven't Trump learnt how trade with countries works by now?
Trade is when countries trade goods and services with each others.
The US has not a deficit on trading services with the EU.
But why on goods?
Could it because EU have VAT, not a trade tariff, on all imported goods from ALL countries between 12% and 27% ?
Could it because US have expensive goods and could be bought elsewhere cheaper?

I guess I missed the 'debunking' of the Obummer Farrahkan photo. How was it 'debunked'? No one had denied it is real and if so please post a link for my edification.

The FACT that there is sentiment FOR anti-WHITE racism in Congress is very uncomfortable for those slimy little creatures when the stones are turned over and their relationships are revealed.

Every time Maxine Waters opens her substantial mouth black racism comes out.

As to the revealed relationships with Farrakhan, 'those who lie with dogs have the same fleas'.

Trump's gone all out racist again. He claimed in Pennsylvania on Saturday night that he won 52% of women's votes. So if you look at the column he took that number from he also won 59% of men.
So how come he didn't get the majority of votes in 2016?

Because he only regards "white non-hispanics" as citizens of the US.

I'm getting a huge feeling (and getting a whiff of a very bad smell) that someone here has a feeling of being, "A Mighty Whitey", considering what he posts and a certain question that he won't answer (or tries to ignore).

Yawn.
