No it is because of the way we designed our balloting system. We require the parties to face off after primaries. Primaries select the most wingnut idiot. So our choice is wingnut A or wingnut B. California got rid of that, and the poor vicious wingnuts are crying they can't get elected. California the primary is open, so to win you have to appeal to the center, not the wingnuts. So the choice is between two center candidates. Better government. Instead of massive deficit bills as just passed in DC there is a surplus. Go figure. No wingnuts. May not be perfect, but it is better than what is going on in DC.

From another POV. Many suspected before the Dim memo was circulated it would intentionally contain sensitive sources and National Security issues that would have to be redacted by DOJ and FIB.

The obvious reason for this inclusion is so when released by the President it would show lots of redaction which would then be claimed by the Dims as concealment of some form of evidence. Just another air biscuit to mask and deflect from the fact that FIB and DOJ used known unverified information to obtain a warrant to spy on a US citizen.

As I said previously, wait for the IG report on the FIB investigation. If it finds anything to indicate that leadership in FIB or DOJ were weaponized politically and they spread that contamination to the FISA court(intentionally or not), there will be some other 'departures'.

And I hope criminal prosecutions.

The Nunes memo was released despite objections from the DOJ and the FBI and now you agree with Trump that the Dems memo needs to be looked at by the same bodies before it can be released, although according to news rerports I've seen the Dems have already submitted their memo for vetting.

Wouldn't you want the police or the FBI to keep a suspect under surveillance by any means possible if you believe that suspect means to harm you, your family, or your property?
