Not had much chance to get out and with the camera lately, but took these when I did manage to get out....the kingfisher was one of five that I saw while walking along Lancaster canal...but he was the only one who was kind enough to sit still long enough so I could take a photo.

The barn owl photo was taken yesterday when we took my granddaughter to a local farm village. She's the one in the last photo...thought I'd try and take this shot...looking through a rolled up drawing she was colouring... with my camera on the phone, rather than the Nikon...

Yes I did, just trying to a bit funny.

I was about 10 years old and I thought I was going to catch one in the barn? I'll never do that again.
it got my thumb and I had to get help to get it off, Man what a GRIP.

Managed to get a few shots while the snow was still falling....a couple of hours after this was taken the thaw had set in and the snow had all but disappeared....

I don't know about the crowd, but it looks like those in the parade are having a great time.

That's like this town here, they party about everything it seems like every weekend.
Well it's good for the town which gets them into store and the wine tasting shops.
at least it's not a Ho Hum town with nothing to do.
