I's to stop Grant worrying about cache sizes, or it's gotten broken (money on the latter) Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

The past couple of days there were account errors, and even some teams missing with a similar error. What David thinks is that these were artifacts of the disk space problem, where the project temporarily ran out of disk space so the cache file (and all files therein) was only partially written. That's why it was showing sometimes and not other times. It could also show for individual users and not for others, as browsers cache (some of) these pages as well. So far it seems it's all fixed, now the project has disk space again. |

I missed the post on the account errors. Now it finally makes sense why my account is still throwing an error on my donation page. Must be an artifact still hanging around from the disk space problem. So the problem is NOT fixed on my account still. I've tried different browsers and cleared entire histories, cookies and caches several times. It's real and current on my account still. No, that problem has a different solution, one that Eric spoke of already: I've found the problem! As soon as I change the donation flags, the "flag setter" (script) that Matt wrote a decade ago sets them back to what they were. I need to fix the "flag setter". |

Are you sure? The similarities in the error messages on carolyn seem to point to the same residual errors talked about in the account errors link you posted. The donation page on my account is properly functional now after Eric fixed it. But I still see the nuisance error message on the page that doesn't have any impact on the page itself other than taking up space and making clutter. I'm sure, as the previous errors all started with things like Notice: unserialize(). Error at offset 4095 of 4096 bytes, one even showed offset 4098 of 4096 bytes. Those are message that happen when you run out of virtual memory, which is read from disk. I also see the present error and have forwarded that one to David. |
