I am working on several BOINC projects and want to prevent SETI from using the NVidia GPU on my system while allowing it to continue using the Intel GPU. I don't see a setting to deselect this. Unfortunately, Seti hogs the NVidia GPU to the detriment of other projects. Maybe if I set Seti to only have a half days data sets??? Suggestions appreciated.

I may have answered my own question. Looking in the account_setiathome.berkeley.edu.xml file I made the following change.

<no_cuda>1</no_cuda>

I believe this will prevent Seti from utilizing Cuda. I left the setting for the Intel board with a value of 0.

You set the hardware resources to use via the project preferences at each project. Your account > preferences for this project > edit preferences > uncheck Use NVIDIA GPU > save preferences. Then when you Update the project in BOINC Manager will it write those values to the account_*.xml file. Else at the next contact with the project, will it put back the values it had into this file.

You do this per project.
