I've had a lot of catching up to do in this thread! I was quite disappointed that watermelon couldn't be eaten. I'm very fond of watermelon, although it's really nasty stuff once it's gone beyond ripe and into the realms of off. I'm sorry to hear about your friend, Vic and I hope your cough stays stopped. I have one that mostly won't, and it's making sleeping a bit of a bad-joke-in-progress at the moment. It's lovely to see you about the boards, Byron! :) Of course it is lovely to see everyone else too. |

Cold temps make Me cough, air or food, Doctor said I have asthma, it's why I prefer soda at room temp, no coughing then, while powdered drinks need to be chilled when mixed with DHMO and that can make Me cough. The 2L bottles are going to get bagged soon, I've got enough for 30 gallon bag, maybe 2 bags worth. I added more time to Boinc to get some more heat in this castle, My 31yr old gas furnace won't turn on, except at random once, probably needs 1 - 3 new limit switches $12-$20ea, hopefully it's not the control board they're about $91 minimum. The blower, burner, pilot and thermostat all work. I called a local place and asked about how much getting My 3rd PC working would cost, for heat in My bedroom, that would cost $100 since I have the parts. Yeah My friend is having more than My dad did in mini strokes, plus My friend also had a full stroke, He's lucky He has 2 women living with Him, one's His common law wife. Just made some iced tea, and sprinkled some artificial sugar in it. The packets have nice little sayings on them: The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

My 21.5" monitor supports at most 1920*1080, but Waterfox 56.2.3 rescaled that ant bait to fit, I do try and keep the size down, now if only uploads and downloads were working as well. sigh. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Does anybody know why my bookmark/favorite icons randomly change to things unrelated to the website they point to? It only happens in Chrome. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Chrome continues to work well for me, Maybe I just jinxed it or that maybe W10 updates doing their thing to you. . My daily driver is a W8.1 box and my W10 box only crunches and only security updates are allowed on it, maybe I just jinxed it. |

Chrome continues to work well for me Well, I don't know. It's a weird quirk. This is a screenshot of the top of Chrome's bookmark row. Only four of these icons below are correct. The rest have randomly changed. This is a screen shot of Chrome's pull-down selection of other bookmarks, also with random icons - The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

I haven't had any browsing trouble per se with it. It's just weird the way it has shuffled the favorite icons. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Lovely. I see someone has finally figurated out that quantum computing can't be all that "definite" :) A proud member of the OFA (Old Farts Association). |

Walking in Croydon town center the other day I saw this sign. Nothing unusual about that you might say as there is a lot of building work going on at the moment' However 100 yards up the road. Now just a small thing you might think, but if a company who will be making large holes in a major thoroughfare, hasn't looked at a map!! If they cannot get the little things right??? Oh and it is actually Scarbrook ROAD, see little things. By the way Croydon residents are very protective about Katharine Street, "Kathrine"is pronounced to rhyme with "wine" Also this morning on my walk I saw this in a shop window OK, I suppose middle of October only 73 shopping day left!! :-( |

Good News everyone, I just weighed Myself, I'm down to 385lbs, better than 451lbs, so I've lost 66lbs since Dec 29th 2016. I'm hoping by Thanksgiving in the US I'll be down to maybe 380lbs or less, yep I'm melting away. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Congratulation Vic! Taking it off a little at a time is much better and safer for you than a rapid weight loss. |
