How does it stay in there? Is it anchored to the bone? The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

Yeah, I read where it said it's "anchored" under the skin, but how? It gives me the heebie jeebies even thinking about it. I guess that's how studs on people's faces work, too? The mind is a weird and mysterious place |

If you watch the video they show a titanium anchor that is placed in the whole they make. The stone is then screwed to the anchor. Not for me thank you. |

Last weekend we had a bit of a cyclone. As Cyclones go, it was nothing much (only Category 2) but it caused a disproportionate amount of damage. There are still around 1,000 households without power (right after the Cyclone it was roughly 1/3 of the properties in the affected area). It took almost 4 days before my power came back on. Overall there was little property damage, but in many of the parks 75% or more of the trees have been blown over. Grant Darwin NT |

It seems we're getting a bit crowded by cyclones now this late in the season Grant. Cyclone Marcus and Cyclone Nora joined by two other systems as storms converge on Australia. I bet that those looking for MH370 have now run for cover from Marcus as it bears down on the search area. Cheers. |

Oh No. Those Aussies can now get here on a single flight, so no chance of them getting lost mid journey ;-) Australia-UK: First non-stop flight arrives in London from Perth |

I am sorry that such a young person died. I am sorry that somebody felt that it was necessary to kill the snake. |

Sailor missing after going overboard in Volvo Ocean Race Please people were life lines if the seas are rough. He was in the southern ocean with 35 knot winds. Even with a survival suit life expectancy in the southern seas is about 30 mins. Next month is the Newport to Ensenada yacht race. If I go to the foredeck I were a lifeline even in the local waters. |
