SETI shuts down when running

Hello Everyone! Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T7500 @ 2.20GHz [Family 6 Model 15 Stepping 11] 4gb Memory Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS SETIatHome v8 8.00 BOINC MGR using 'local preferences' Computing TAB USAGE Limits: 100% / 100% When To Suspend: All off - NO checkmarks OTHER: 0.1/0.5/60/60 Network TAB All off - NO checkmarks Disk & Memory TAB Disk: off/ 0.1/ 90% Memory: 50%/ 99%/ Off/ 75% Daily Schedules TAB ALL OFF When started and left untouched, SETI will run for a minute or so then suspend stating 'computer not in use'. Pressing a key or touch-pad restarts SETI back to 'Running' ?????????????????? Stumped! Any assistance will be greatly appreciated! Thanks Gordon |

Check the preferences here on the web site, at https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/prefs.php?subset=global and more specifically whether Suspend when no mouse/keyboard input in last N minutes is checked and set. The local preferences only override all the same web preferences, but if a web preference isn't in the local preferences, the web preference is used as well. |
