I do not find that comment, in context of this $100 race, to be offensive. Use of the word "some" vs use of the word "all" keeps it from being a racist comment, in my opinion.

I thought it was a good message but they dropped the ball on presentation. No nefarious motives, just a shared opinion from lots of training.

A teacher's job is to teach, build confidence & show that one's choices & actions, good or bad has consequences.

What the teacher did in that video, just to get his point across, was much worse than being racist. He humiliated a fair amount of his class.

They are aware of their position in life & did not need it to be displayed for all to see & to then compound that humiliation by posting it on social media.

With teachers like that, what chance has those students got to rise above their situation?
