Mind pointing to the task in question? I only see you getting SETI@home v8 v8.22 (opencl_ati5_SoG_nocal) and SETI@home v8 v8.22 (opencl_ati_nocal) in your list of tasks. So, isn't it that you checked the workunit ID and saw that your wing-person (the other computer running the task for validation purposes) ran it with the Nvidia-SoG application? Like https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/workunit.php?wuid=2705935958, which shows: 6082351838 7629261 9 Oct 2017, 18:59:25 UTC 9 Oct 2017, 19:15:43 UTC Completed and validated 736.47 732.59 89.61 SETI@home v8 v8.22 (opencl_nvidia_SoG) windows_intelx86 6082351839 8340664 9 Oct 2017, 18:59:25 UTC 11 Oct 2017, 16:13:06 UTC Completed and validated 454.83 299.14 89.61 SETI@home v8 v8.22 (opencl_ati5_SoG_nocal) windows_intelx86 Yours is the second computer here, not the first. |

It must have been the case where I saw the validation task... As you said my logs don't contain such a thing. Offtopic - are tasks ALWAYS validated on another arch? |
