Need a list of video cards for amd FX6300 mb. Have 400watt power supply and a new 600 watt available.
Can anyone help?

With your current 400w PSU an nVidia GTX1050, GTX1050ti, or GTX1060 would be OK.
With the 600w PSU you could go up to a GTX1070, GTX1080, or GTX1080ti
It all depends on how much you want to spend - prices range from about $120 for a GTX1050 up to about $900 for a GTX1080ti.
Most of the "big players" in the PC parts world have a range of GPUs, and bewildering minor differences in the detail specification. I've settled on using the nearest to the chip designer's base specification as possible - low clock speed and single fan, - as I've had no end of issues with "silly factory overclocked, multiple fan" GPUs not lasting the course.

Aside from that most all videocards will be compatible with any new CPU out there, there is one caveat that you neglected to tell: the brand and model of the motherboard. Because if that doesn't have any extra PCIe slots, adding a videocard will be difficult.
But it really doesn't matter if you want to use an AMD or Nvidia videocard. They're all compatible with your CPU.
Perhaps not all with the PSU, but then you also didn't say what you want to use the videocard for.
If just to attach a monitor to, any low level passively cooled videocard can do.
If you want to game the latest games, and also want to run Set tasks on the GPU of the videocard, you'll need more. But for that we need the info about the motherboard, and possibly even the amount of RAM you plan to put on the board.
