Could we be seeing an Indian Empire kick the remnants of the old British Empire in the teeth?

Does anyone really care about the British any more?

So much for your moral, ethical & intellectualism. A "real" moral, ethical intellect would know that condescension is beneath them. It would be expected of a university teacher to be aware of that point :-)

Now how is it?
Is it Brexit or not Brexit?
Are Britain letting EU expats stay in Britain?

My sister have lived in England for more than 40 years!
Now she is called a refugee by officials. It's true.
Is also her son a refugee? Born, educated and now having a well paid job in England 20 years after my sister "escaped" Sweden?

I talked to her right now and she has got a new job.
Guess where.

"All EU nationals lawfully resident for at least five years will be able to apply for "settled status" and be able to bring over spouses and children."

Ah but what about all those "EU nationals" who have been legally residing in the UK pre EU & even pre EEC?

I, and my youngest are regarded as immigrants into the UK. Along with all other children born abroad in UK Military or Diplomatic families.
According to the census the country with most immigrants to the UK is Germany.

The EU are seeking a "so-called" £100 billion "divorce" bill from the UK, so let's look to EU Law...

"So-called" £500 billion "compensation" bill payable to the UK by the EU

...the EU accepted the "Dublin Regulation" which established that the point of entry should decide on immigration status.

To arrive at Calais, France & other EU nations have ignored the Dublin Regulation, so the UK should seek compensation for their ignorance.

The Dublin Regulation itself has recently undergone changes. However the original "point of entry" point has remained the same & rather that change or dismiss the regulation, it has been enhanced.

Dublin Regulation

Think someone should hit Mr Drunker with that point :-)

Edited to delete duplicated word.

"One of the most noticeable changes was among Germans, with applications almost tripling."

Do they know something Merkel doesn't?

EU applications increase...to enter not leave

The Way Ahead to...Empire?
It's still Polish people that want to stay in Britain by far.
Ok. Maybe about 6000 applicants in one year is not that much.

1. Poland 6,179 (+43.9%)
2. Italy 2,950 (+166%)
3. Romania 2,713 (+40%)
4. France 2,508 (+168.5%)
5. Germany 2,338 (+193.4%)
6. Bulgaria 1,697 (+43.8%)

Thank you Professor :-)

"Over time the EU has become a very different animal. Now the EU policy is about interventionism, they try to interfere in all sorts of economic and social fields to push through all kinds of political concepts and that’s a very dangerous idea."

I'm getting confused.
Theresa May speaking of what's the essence of the European Union...

And PM's plea to stay in the Single Market for two years after leaving...

Thought the Heathrow issue was bad....

So much for German efficiency.

"BER was supposed to open in 2011. Today it is billions of euros over budget, and there is still no fixed start date. During that time, numbers of visitors to Berlin have grown so much that the new, not-yet-open airport is already too small."

Merkel wins 4th term

She can now go "cap in hand" to the EU to get that airport finished :-)
