I wish that as a default, when you start a new thread you are subscribed to it

It seems kind of silly to NOT be subscribed to a new message area thread if you originate it. Of course, you could unsubscribe afterwards. I'd rather not have that any thread I make I get subscribed to automatically, so in this sense you can as well subscribe after making the thread. Don't think I have ever subscribed to a thread I started, Certainly wouldn't want loads more emails than I already get if I had to remember to unsubscribe every time!! |

I'm on a couple of other boards which have auto-subscribe, and it really score "Grade One Plus" in the PIA for number of emails. arriving.
