Gonna be a rough day for everybody at Lambeau on Sunday. Fans and players alike.
Expect more than a few players to have heat cramps.
Forecast 87f with high humidity. Might be a Lambeau Field all time high record during the game.
Packers-Bengals game could be hottest ever at Lambeau Field.

I don't think it will be much of a problem with the players as it will be for the fans. The players have been conditioning all summer long (or should have been).

In today's NFL the players condition all year long, there is too much money at stake not to.

Dunno how I like the Packer's chances today.
I always root for them, of course.
The heat will probably affect both teams, but the Packers are already, early in the season, suffering from a lot of key players out with injuries.
As of Friday, they had 7 on the 'doubtful' list, and 2 more listed as 'questionable'.

Lookin' pretty awful for the Packers today.
21-7 Bengals over the Packers at half time.
Offensive line looking sad, with Rodgers getting sacked 5 times.
Defense not doing too well either.

Meowsigh.

I was proud of all of the teams and players who let 45 know his comments were off base.

Kitty can't be to sad over the final score.

Not at all.......
I had to leave home on the spur of the moment.......but I caught the final possession to take it to overtime on the car radio.
And was quite pleased when the Packers, who's defense had not shown up for the beginning of the game, managed to force a 3 and out on the Bengals to start the overtime session.
And then drove the field for the game winning field goal.
To be honest, I did not think they stood a chance the way they played the first half.

Well done, Packers!

It was an exciting finish. Eric's best friend from college is staying with us this weekend and there was a lot of exuberance in our living room this evening when the Packers won the game.

And they finished off da Bears in grand fashion. Final score 14-35.
However, more injuries during the game.
Including a nasty hit to the helmet of Davante Adams that had him taken off the field on a stretcher and taken to the hospital for evaluation. Hope he is OK.
Now they have 10 days to heal up before going on the road to take on the Dallas Cowboys.

Go Pack!!!

Not finding any updates on Davante Adams' condition yet this morning.
I hope that the NFL comes down heavy on Danny Trevathan. Like Thor's hammer.
Here is the hit.
Spearing helmet to helmet hit and totally uncalled for.
I was at work with the game on the radio, so did not see this until this morning.

Trevathan claims it wasn't 'on purpose '
but, it sure looked like it (

As well he should have been, the next time for half a season or more.

If he does that again to anybody on any team ever, he should be booted from the NFL for life.
Just my thoughts.

And...........
It's the Packers over the Cowboys.
Final 35-31.
Amazing final drive from Rodgers and the rest of the crew to win it.
And it should not have come to that.
I believe there were 3 missed extra point attempts.

So the heart attack Pack does it again to go to 4-1 on the season.
And the Cowboys drop to 2-3.

Meow, Packers!!!!!

Didn't look like that bad a hit or landing.
Although it should have been a penalty because the ball was long gone and Barr should have pulled up.
Hopefully he just got shaken up a bit and will bounce back quickly.

Meow, Aaron.
