Guess it's time to complain of no work available for any machine and hope that the schedulers pick up on the keywords.

There's no probs here getting work, again. ;-)

Cheers.

OK, let's try this again then:

I haven't received any new tasks for my main computer, in almost three hours now.
The GPU will be out of work, in another three hours.

Same reply every time:

SETI@home 2017-08-27 20:16:24 Requesting new tasks for NVIDIA GPU
SETI@home 2017-08-27 20:16:27 Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks

You hear me, Skynet?

Edit 5 minutes later: This is getting spooky. After that post, the next scheduler reply was:

SETI@home 2017-08-27 20:22:48 Requesting new tasks for NVIDIA GPU
SETI@home 2017-08-27 20:22:52 Scheduler request completed: got 45 new tasks

No new work in three hours, and then one post here, and I get 45 tasks to fill up the cache to 100 %

. . Maybe ET has taken over SETI :)

A relatively painless outage this week. Just got a nice refill of 103 tasks. :-)

The servers are unreachable now. Only thing up is the main pages and forums.

Everything seems OK here at present.

Yes, the three servers weren't pingable for about ten minutes. Seems to have corrected itself now. Just not getting enough work when requested.

Everything is working fine here.

I also retired a PC this morning so there's a bit more work to spread around elsewhere. ;-)

Cheers.

All of a sudden my 3 computers are reporting "Computer has reached a limit on tasks in progress"
No new WUs for the GPUs, CPU doing fine.

Been getting that sporadically all day. Depends on whether there are any non-VLAR Arecibo or BLC tasks in the splitter buffer. If not, the GPUs get a big fat no task are available message.

Yeah, usual Scheduler random weirdness combined with a run of Arecibo VLAR work coming through.

. . Same here. For over 2.5 hours I have had no new work, either with no reason given or occasionally "project has no tasks available", I tried the kick in the pants method but the servers refused to send work to the GPU. I changed the host's location to one that takes work for both the GPU and the CPU and immediately got 60 new tasks, ALL OF THEM ARECIBO VLARs.

. . Since then I am getting the "this machine has reached a limit" message as if it is seeing ONLY the CPU and ignoring the GPU.

. . Alf, they're at it again!

. . I guess if this continues much longer my GPUs will be crunching Arecibo VLARS (PPtttoooiii!)

The Arecibo VLARs might have finally pushed through. I just got slugs of 64, 44 and 27 BLC tasks to start topping up my GPU caches.

I was down about 100 tasks from full cache with 7 rigs crunching, but it looks like they are all topping off again as well.

. . YAY!

. . I just got a cache full of work on this rig and most of a cache on the one that was below half full. It does indeed seem that the clog has been unclogged.

Been that way for months for me.
Right after the weekly outage there's plenty of GBT work. After 24-48 hours, it's mostly all Arecibo with a bit of GBT thrown in every now and then.
