We are seeing, with the voters in both Major Parties, a revolt against the Washington Swamp/Ruling Class. With a possible political realignment of the Major Party's.

Trump is just one reaction to the Washington Swamp/Ruling Class. With the Republican Voters dismissing their Leadership's selected candidates in the last Presidential primaries. Add the Sanders revolt against the Democrat Party's Leadership selected Candidate.

Over the past few years. The Republican and Independent Voters have usually chosen the Anti-Democrat/Republican Candidate (Obama was chosen for nonpolitical reasons) to show their displeasure. Thereby giving the Republican Party control of most State Governorships, State Legislatures, The House of Representatives, the Senate, the Presidency and now an increasingly Conservative Federal Judiciary.

With the Parties voters revolt against their Leadership. With the Independent voters increasing hostility against both the Democrat and Republican Party.

But you don't state where you got your info from, it obviously isn't the same place as me.

That you believe the Republican Party hasn't, in the last few years, captured most of the States and the entire Federal Government, is interesting.

Of course one notices it, but one also questions how much of it fair and reasonable, due to the gerrymandering and voter suppression. Yes I do know that both parties are guilty, but IMO it is most pronounced in the heavily red states, they are even on record of admitting it.

So what is going to happen, unless it is made illegal, with gerrymandering and voter suppression after 2018, when by most reckonings the Dems are going to do some serious butt kicking.

That you will not acknowledge that the Republican Voters dismissed the Republican Leadership's choices for President. In addition to the Democrat Voters voting for Sanders. Is more interesting.

For that you have to blame the Illinois supreme court 2009 and the Burris nomination case.

That you haven't been following the Opinion Polls posted here and daily in the Press. Regarding Democrat, Republican and Independent trust in the Political Parties.

Thats a number that has been going up and down since the 80's, it has been worse than it is now.

And more importantly, the issues that most American really care about. Is even more interesting.

I long for the days of news reporting........where the facts were presented and the viewer/reader formed an original opinion rather than it being a multiple choice thing.
