It has generally been estimated that Trump has frozen the frog because Finland has not even sent any calls for tenders until it has made a decision on a new fighter. According to the Defense Ministry, the decision will be taken only at the beginning of the next decade.
Super Hornet is one of the possible machines but there are others, including the American Lockheed Martin's fifth generation fighter F-35 Lightning.
Why did Trump not claim that Finns were buying F-35 fighters? They are more expensive than their competitors, they have a longer life span and maintenance would cost even more money and work in the United States.
The answer is found in Trump's insider. Behind the big deals, there is a great lobbying that Boeing enjoys better than its competitors.

HOW LOW CAN IT GO? Congress job approval at 8%!

President Trump’s approval numbers may be under water, but he’s significantly more popular than House Speaker Paul Ryan or House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

A new poll by The Economist finds Trump with a 39 percent “favorable” rating, with 23 percent holding a “very favorable” view of the president, and 16 percent “somewhat favorable.”

Forty-five percent say they have a “very unfavorable” view of Trump.

While Democrats and some Congressional Republicans may be reassured by Trump’s relatively low numbers, leaders of both parties fair significantly worse in the poll taken August 27-29.

House Speaker Paul Ryan is held in a “very favorable” light by only 6 percent of poll respondents, and a combined 26 percent view him positively.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell fairs even worse.

A combined 18 percent of Americans view him favorably.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s numbers aren’t any better than Ryan’s.

Only 7 percent hold a “very favorable” view of her, while 19 percent hold a “somewhat favorable” view, totaling 26 percent.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s ratings are a little better — he’s viewed favorably by a combined 29 percent of respondents.

The poll also finds only 8 percent of Americans approve of how Congress is handling its job, with a meager 3 percent saying they “strongly approve.”

As I have been correctly observing and confirmed by many posters who just attack Trump:

The Anti/Never Trumps are, in my opinion, being correctly held in less trust than Idiot/Dangerous Trump.

Let me start by saying again, as I have said many times before -- even during the campaign... Trump is poison. I fear his campaign may end up turning the country somewhat more authoritarian than it already is.

That said, Trump is at least trying to do what he campaigned on... 'Drain the Swamp'... That is, he is effectively against the 'Washington DC establishment' (The departments of the Executive branch, the legislative branch, the news media, and to a lesser extent the judicial branch -- he is against the ingrained bureaucratic status quo and their enablers and cheerleaders). He claims to be pro-'working man'. Time will tell, we will see if he sticks to draining the swamp, or goes (as I fear) authoritarian 'nuts'.

Of course Trump is... upsetting the Democrats. They are part of the swamp.
Of course Trump is... having heated tirades against the Republicans. They are part of the swamp.
Of course Trump is... calling the news media a bunch of liars peddling their fake shiat. They are part of the swamp.

Of course Trump is rather more popular than these groups. He is at least publicly going after the swamp snakes... Just what the people that elected him elected him to do.
Of course the swamp snakes are HIGHLY unpopular. The People have seen them all for what they are for quite some time, but up to now had no alternative that was even slightly viable.
