I've had a Roku 3 box for a couple of years now and from the beginning at certain times of the day it wants to stop and refresh itself making it seem like I'm watching an old 8mm movie where the film breaks every few minutes. I usually get frustrated and switch back to my regular cable channels. My TV is at one end of my mobile home while my computer and router is about 2/3 of the way back. With the kitchen and it's appliances in between.

Well, I will be answering my own question soon. I ordered the latest version when I got an email from Roku with a $20 off coupon.

This will be my last post in this thread unless someone has a question. I got my new Roku box and in addition to solving my streaming video problem it has several more features than my old Roku 3. No more stalled streaming issues.

I have an HD tv, but it's a cathode ray tube set, a Sony Wega, from 2005. It does have one HDMI port on the back, which my satellite receiver is plugged into. If I get a Roku, I guess it needs an HDMI port, so could I get an HDMI hub to solve that issue?

That would solve the issue, HDMI switches are cheap.

Good, and this is a little off the main topic of the Roku, itself, but I have several things plugged in to my tv with conventional RCA cables. I am assuming new tv's don't have inputs for those. Is there such a thing as a hub that I can plug all my RCA-style devices into, that then will convert the signals through an HDMI cable?
