And the problem spread all over the world. Now is the time to get rid of it.”

Earlier Prince Mohammed had said: “We are simply reverting to what we followed – a moderate Islam open to the world and all religions. 70% of the Saudis are younger than 30, honestly we won’t waste 30 years of our life combating extremist thoughts, we will destroy them now and immediately.”

I very much hope he doesn't meet with an "accident" before he officially takes over from his father... he will be stepping on quite a few very nasty and change-unfriendly toes. But given that it's an open secret that Saudi hardline Wahhabism has been at the root of Daesh/ISIL, Al-Qaeda, the Taliban, Boko Haram and other acknowledged terrorist groups and it's almost certain that elements of the Saudi royal family and others have been secretly funding these groups, I think that this is very good news indeed and hope he can carry out his plan.

New York City Police say they are responding to reports of an explosion at a bus terminal in Manhattan.

The incident reportedly happened on Monday morning at the Port Authority Bus Terminal near Times Square.

"The NYPD is responding to reports of an explosion of unknown origin at 42nd Street and 8th Ave, #Manhattan," tweeted the department.

"The A, C and E line are being evacuated at this time. Info is preliminary, more when available."

ABC News quotes police sources as saying that a possible pipe bomb was detonated in a passageway below ground at the terminal.

Port Authority is the largest bus terminal in the US, serving more than 65 million people a year.

Victorian police have basically ruled out terrorism this morning as the man is well known to them as a person with mental health issues and an Ice addiction with a long criminal history (basically the same thing that happened almost 12 months ago in the same area).

A terrorist would also surely pick a larger vehicle than a small Suzuki Vitara.

The 2nd unconnected man arrested at the time has been released pending further investigation (he lost his stash of weed).
