Work is a four letter word.

As been said. Be a jerk and go to work.
Not for me any longer this month:)

Cheers.

Well work does include keeping 1's abode clean and tidy also and I just caught up on 3 weeks of vacuuming here (it's surprising just how much dust'n'fluff can build up in that time). :-(

Only 90mins to go until Beer O'clock gets here.

Cheers.

Say what you will. it is a brilliant idea that is well executed, and it overall does a better job than I typically get around to doing.

I'm glad that it works well for you in your environment, but here I'll stick with my 20L 1500W industrial wet/dry job (if it ain't nailed/screwed down it's gone). ;-)

30mins until LLB. :-(

Cheers.

Sounds like the ones at work. They adapted a 55 gallon drum for the motor and hose attachments. Then put it on a roller cart. The suction will lift the carpet off the floorboards of your car.

When not being used for domestic duties Admiral, it hooks up to my shed's sawdust recovery system that attaches to a bench saw, a drop saw and several other powered hand tools.

I'm just waiting now for the local tip to open so I can empty the last trailer load of prunings (load #4) before Beer O'clock gets here, but after 8 weeks of hard work I've finally got the yards and gardens looking fresh again.

Cheers.

G'morning everyone, as we here in the highlands down under get ready for a wet weekend.

Actually Grant, Hugh sold his mansion last year for over $100 million to his neighbour Daren Metropoulos so I guess Daren will be moving in very soon to take Hugh's place. ;-)

There's just under 4hr left until Friday Beer O'clock here so I better get a few more things done before then. :-D

Cheers.

G'morning everyone, from another cool'n'damp day in the highlands down under.

After a wet long weekend here it looks like we'll have a short and wet working week as well.

Anyhow, I'm putting a beer brew down this morning and that will be all done by the time Beer O'clock gets here is just over 3hrs time.

Cheers.

G'day everyone, as we here in the highlands down under wait for the rain to arrive.

The beer fridge here will be opened as soon as Bathurst 1000 begins.

Cheers.

G'day Wiggo,

we are heading into Fall here, getting cooler now,
I guess you down under, you are heading into spring,
so it should start getting warmer for you Aussies?
in the western part of Canada, we had hundreds of wild fires in the bush this past summer,
with thousands of people who had to abandon their homes.
I remember a couple years back, you Aussies had some real bad wild fires in the bush,
I hope that your summer is better this year.
Stay well and take care,

Best Wishes,
Byron.

G'morning everyone, from a very wet start in the highlands down under.

Hi Byron, yes we're well into spring here now and due to our extra dry winter here this year plenty of hazard reduction burning was carried out (some of which caused a few problems and caused a lot of greenies to howl), but as with every summer there will be bushfires here (hopefully there'll be no bad ones) and most of our native flora needs fire anyway to produce/release seed.
Be well my friend.

Anyhow, it doesn't look like I'll get much done here today (with all this wet stuff falling from the sky) and there's still 6hrs to go until Monday beer o'clock so I'll go and have another coffee.

Cheers.

Hi everyone, I tried a new beer tonight called Iron Springs Epiphany Ale shipped and bottled from fairfax CA, I have got to say it's a pretty good beer, it's a red Ale and was plenty cold.

With that fire we had today I could have made a fortune selling down the road, shut down the main road through here.`
2 hospitals and a Kmart had to be cleared out, over a frill that went bad. just all how it started I don't know yet. they said we had to leave if it got much bigger, one thing we did sell out of gas. all bread and snakes were gone but at least they left me a few beers. LOL
Cheers everybody

G'day everyone, as we await more rain to move in here.

With my eldest daughter moving out again (for the 3rd time) I've had to put off bottling a brew (that's now ready) for a couple of days, but I did get all my domestic engineering jobs here done this morning and I've just 1 PC left from yesterday to finish off.

I'll have another trip to the tip to do tomorrow as my daughter is now loading up my trailer again with all the rubbish that she has accumulated here over the last 2yrs (you would think that at 25 she'd have gotten over her messy teenage days, but sadly that has not yet happened). :-(

Anyhow with LLB being just an hour away I better go to check and see if that PC has finished updating yet.

Cheers.

Well my youngest daughter-in-law is the same age and she is still rather childish.
So i`m not surprised Wiggo.

G'morning everyone, from a very wet start in the highlands down under.

I never had this problem with any of my 5 boys Mike, but my 2 girls were another story though my youngest daughter (23) seems to have grown out of it.

Anyhow Beer O'clock might be a bit late here today as I'll have to wait for this rain to clear (it should do that by noon here) before I can do my tip run.

Cheers.
