Move the website/message areas off the main Seti Servers

The idea is to not take down the website/message areas every Tuesday even if the Seti Servers are off line. Surely, banners could be added to the website/message areas to announce the Seti Servers are down for maintenance. So no one would be posting about no access. The forums use the BOINC master & replica databases to store the number and content of posts & show the credit & RAC amounts. To move them outside of the BOINC back-end would mean a major overhaul that we have no personnel for. The forums use the BOINC master & replica databases to store the number and content of posts & show the credit & RAC amounts. To move them outside of the BOINC back-end would mean a major overhaul that we have no personnel for. Ah, didn't think about that particular connection. You would have to setup a table replication with all that information on a different server and then keep it synchronized. Ouch. Oh, well.
