Two generations of reusable space planes came face to face — or nose to tail, rather — over the weekend.

On Sunday (May 7), the U.S. Air Force's robotic X-37B space plane landed at NASA's Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida, wrapping up a mission that lasted an unprecedented 718 days.
