Message 1871693 - Posted: 8 Jun 2017, 4:13:36 UTC - in response to Message 1871685.

Today was not exactly what you would call fun. Yesterday was rather less so. If I say polyethylene glycol-electrolyte solution, does that give anyone a hint what I was doing?

Oh dear. No fun at all.
Why does so many in my vicinity have so many health problem right now?

Before I did that yesterday, I went to the bank and paid off the last few hundred bucks on my car loan. I am now at my lowest debt level in probably 20 years or more.

Nope, glycol is found in anti-freeze, I doubt you were drinking that. And yes I just looked it up, no comment.

That's ethylene glycol. This is polyethylene glycol. I know what it says on the data sheet from the pharmacy.

Nope. Polyethylene glycol-electrolyte solution (PEG-ES) is a completely different thing.
And you have to drink that.

polyethylene glycol is used as a anti foaming agent in Dr. Pepper.
Ethylene glycol is used in automotive antifreeze.

Poly-ethylene-glycol (PEG) should never be confused with ethylene glycerol.
Ethylene glycol (EG) is frequently used in automotive anti-freeze, and is toxic
PEG is a polymer made from EG, and has a wide range of uses, including anti-foam in soft drinks and "texturing" soft drinks - it is classified as "safe" when used as a food additive, but in bulk quantities the lower molecular weight polymers are toxic.
EG is a liquid, PEG ranges from a viscous liquid to a waxy solid depending on its molecular weight.

Okay, so everyone seems to have figured it out. They removed four small polyps and some samples for biopsy. No results of analyses yet.

I had my last colonoscopy the end of March, no polyps and I choose to not have anesthesia. Fascinating to watch on the large color monitor. Too bad they didn't make a DVD.

When I got my results they had removed an alleged polyp that turned out to be a piece of broccoli. Almost 4 more years until my next one.

Apparently I should. It's been 46 hours now and nothing I've eaten has come out.

Quadruple Axel.
That's a term in figure skating when you jump and manage to do four turns in the air before landing.
My second name is Axel.
I have sort of done that stunt.
No. It so happens that once I sat at a table together with 3 other guys.
We all shared the name Axel.
Me, a friend of mine and his father and his son.
What are the odds for that?
