Message 1889562 - Posted: 13 Sep 2017, 17:40:49 UTC - in response to Message 1889552.

The nominees are:
The Admiral for:
"UPS version of crunching a WU"
Richard Haselgrove for:
"Hey, that must be the concertina I ordered!"
Sirius B for:
"OMG! I hope my Seti Toaster is okay."
and Carlos for:
"UPS 1 day select,
Had to be stuffed into a smaller faster airplane."

...And the Oscar Emmy Tony Grammy award goes to: [dramatic pause]
The Admiral!

with second place to Richard,
Third place to Sirius B,
and Honorable Mention to Carlos, who lost
points, because that was a UPS 3-day, not overnight, package.

BTW, the contents DID arrive intact - a lens from B&H Photo/Video

As a former UPS package handler myself, this appears to have been dropped at least twice, and possibly used on the bottom layer of a stack. All UPS air packages
travel on the same planes (sorry, Carlos...) it's just what happens before and after the plane ride that determines how fast that package arrives at your location.
UPS 3-day packages typically sit on the ramp at the destination airport for a day...

PM going out as soon as proofread and posted...
