Well, only six captions, but I'll muddle through... Honorable mention for JaundicedEye for correctly identifying the sculpture: this is, indeed, a real, cast-in Rodin's lifetime, copy of The Thinker J.E. didn't say where it was, though... (there are 20 or 21 authorized casts, in two sizes, this is the smaller size...) In Third place, Carlos for: 1, 2, 3, 4, .......998, 999, 1000, 1001 – darn I think I counted that one twice. 1, 2, 3, 4,..... In Second Place, JaundicedEye for: At this point, perhaps a Proctologist might be in order. In First Place, and next pic post goes to Sirius B for: While waiting for Godot to appear, I stared at Medusa :-( ... although looking at the Medusa turned you to stone, not bronze... For the question I posed: This copy of The Thinker by August Rodin is in the garden of the Glyptotek Museum in Copenhagen, Denmark. There is another authorized copy (much more local to SETIcentral...) at the Palace of the Legion of Honor in San Francisco, CA... and it's the larger size, too! Strange, when you think about it, that both copies of the statue that I've seen are near salt water... a PM will go out as soon as this gets prüfred and posted... ;-) . Hello, from Albany, CA!...
