Flying is dead easy-it's landing that gets a bit tricky. :-)

Mosquito season.

Or

Hogwart's Bashing Tree scores another one.

Or

When your troubles come home to roost.

Or

Stick that in your tree LANDLORD!!

Or

The kids wanted a new tree house.

"Learn to fly here"... Landings? Learn that somewhere else!

This isn't Heathrow.

Or

Any tree you can climb out of is a good landing.

Or

For sale. Slight scratches and dents.

Or

Can I still get my deposit back?

Or

Is it to late to add insurance on my rental policy?

Or

I swear! The tree suddenly grow up around the plane!

Or

This is what happens when you put a pub in your control tower.

When you've all quite finished inflicting pain on my ribs and tummy people, and leaving me gasping for air...

I'll get on with the nightmare of judging this competition.

Until then...

:))))))))))))) thank you!

While you're waiting...

below...

...is possibly what my own caption might have been. I can't take credit for it - as in many ways, it was inspired by each and every one of yours

Back in a bit :)

Late entries will continue to be accepted for awhile yet

edit: because I'm going to be awhile yet... :)))

I swore that tree looked like a little bush at 10,000 feet.

That judging thing got hideously interrupted people what with mothers falling out of bed, and asthma launching an attack at my son, so this is not only late, but rushed too. My apologies :/

As there is not enough room to fit everyone on the podium in first place, much as I would like to, my special mention for her very droll understatement "Flight School needs some work…." goes to Lynn! Thank you for giving me my first chuckles in the competition too :)

thrird place (which also happens to be third place) goes to the Holy Hand Grenade for: "Learn to fly here"... Landings? Learn that somewhere else!" for the excellent advice :)

Second place is yours Admiral :) One in particular really stood out ... "Stick that in your tree LANDLORD!!" :))

And for his problem-solving approach - the win goes to Carlos for : "Well I tried to pull the tree out with my truck first.
When that didn't work...." :))

Betreger, Sirius and Monday yours were also brilliant, thank you :) You only lost out by a whisker in my mentionings above.

That was tremendous fun everybody! Thank you so much for playing :) PM on its way

Thank you Anniet,

Seems to have a problem with my down load site, so I found something fitting. Any last words?
