Rules of the game: Winner posts a new picture, waits 24 hours... After the 24 hours, he/she counts the number of captions, if the sum is less than ten, he/she waits another 24... After ten captions or NO LATER THAN 48 hours, the winner of the last round declares the winner of the current round - whatever caption strikes him/her as funniest: he/she also picks a second and third place (more on that below) The winner of the round has 24 hours to post another picture to be captioned; if no picture within the 24 hours, (or notice posted by the winner that he/she is looking...) then second place is up, who also has 24 hours... During breaks in the action, (between a winner being declared and the next picture posted) general discussion may take place... Moderators should be aware that a picture posting may cross with a "general discussion" type posting. Newton's door handle... And let me explain that the "Give us a caption" threads are typically restarted at about 60-65 pages (at 10 posts per page...)... and that I was only making a suggestion... Sorry guys - I've been suffering from a lack of bits & bytes :-( So, we have a decent number of captions, but only a few entrants.... Third goes to The Holy Hand Grenade with "Apple sauce who?" Thank you. May the apples fall where they may. Well as some of you may know, there is a bear that has moved into a residential neighborhood in southern California. He has been seen swimming in pools, chasing and being chased by dogs, homeowners showing him out of their yards. Morning news is having fun. Well looks like someone has come up with a solution. Your captions please.
