As stated in title I simply followed the guides I found and I used the command and site url plus login key after getting bionic on Linux 8 core CPU system via Google compute trial except I put berkley instead of Berkely in the url login part I'm not a programmer by far although slightly better then knowing nothing about computers haha. Just wanted to get this fixed cause it's not working obviously. Idk how to change the master url , or log out if account or whatever I need to do to get the ur l corrected . Atm the cmd. Is showing I'm logged in cause it shows my account email but can't connect to get the tasks because I assume anyway that incorrect url. I'm sure this may be a repetetiv or stupid question but as I said before I've never done this type of thing or used linux

Using the boinccmd tool with a running BOINC client:
boinccmd --project your-mismatched-url-here --detach

and reattach
boinccmd --project_attach setiathome.berkeley.edu account_key

or
boinccmd --project_attach setiathome.berkeley.edu email password username

Mind, Berkeley has three e's, Berkeley, else copy & paste the URL. I don't think it needs the http:// prefix, but try that, else add it.

Using at BOINC client startup:
boinc --detach_project mismatched_url

and after a client stop,
boinc --attach_project setiathome.berkeley.edu account_key

So it's easier to use boinccmd as the client is already running.

Oh, by the way, if the trick with the boinccmd tool doesn't work, you can also remove the account_*.xml and client_state.xml/client_state_prev.xml files and then (re)start the BOINC client.

Where these files are though depends on the Linux version the Google server runs and which BOINC you installed (from package manager, or Berkeley).
The various distro links under http://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Installing_BOINC#Installing_BOINC_as_a_package show where various parts of BOINC are saved, depending on said distro.
