Message 1858421 - Posted: 30 Mar 2017, 10:57:40 UTC

I have checked through the threads but cant find an answer to my query...which is this.
When I click on graphic display on SETI@HOME....the data box swings quite a lot and is a bit annoying....Is ther away to allow the box to move gently or even stay still?
Thanks again in advance....

Go to your account (top right, under your name, https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/home.php), and click on Preferences for this project: SETI@home preferences (https://setiathome.berkeley.edu/prefs.php?subset=project).
Edit these.
Set Graphics preferences to Custom.
Save preferences with the Update preferences button.
Immediately do "Edit preferences" again.
Now set anything with oscillation in the name to a low value (for slower turning) or to zero (to stop it completely).
Minimize the speed of the stars.
Update preferences again.

Open BOINC Manager.
Simple view: Open BOINC Manager->Projects: from drop down menu select Seti@Home->Project commands button: click Update.
Advanced view: Open BOINC Manager->Projects tab->select Seti@Home from the list->click Update.
