Can you elaborate on how you would like to see this proposal implemented?

But we already have badges.

Look beside the flag under my name. ;-)

Cheers.

Those are NOT SETI badges - hust GENERIC BOINC TOP % "badges" and do not represent ANY CREDIT MILESTONES.

There is no reason to shout here Dr Who Fan, but those are SETI badges and not BOINC badges.

Cheers.

I doubt if the project would implement a script to automatically award them, but there is no reason why individuals shouldn't use them in their sig if they want. Provided of course we didn't make the pages load slower. All the images are .jpg.

Now there's an idea for those who want to do their own, and as Chris said about not impacting page load times, and it won't effect us that ignore sigs totally because we reckon that there's enough clutter around here already without having to see them too. ;-)

Cheers.

Image size can be reduced and convert in a other type.

Personally I find images in peoples signature lines very distracting, and use various blockers to stop them getting in the way of the flow of the text. I do not object to the graphics in the "name" area of the page, thus the avatars, flags and existing badges (stars and medals) are OK.
