I did not know where to post this. I have set my internet prefs, and updated in boinc several times, I have tried to use my local prefs, Boinc just keeps pressing on hogging all resources regardless. The only way I can get it to quit is to suspend.

Boinc is 7.33 x64 and I am have the latest S@H

This is the global prefs file:

All I want this thing to do is suspend operation when my computer use is above a certain percentage which I sit at 5, Boinc is using 100% of the CPU, all of them, and can barely stream video or load a page without suspending totally.

My online prefs are the same as I set in Boinc.

BOINC Manager->(View->Advanced view->)Activity, make sure that these are set 'run based on preferences'. When set to 'Always' preferences are ignored.

Thanks I had both set to run. I have it set to run on preferences now. I don't know how I missed those settings. Likely one of my late night, half asleep changing things then can't remember what I did. LOL
