Why bringing in politics in this forum?

No politics at all.
I simply pointed out that the girl had no experience of prison and that Cash spent time in one,
So, when he sang Folsom Prison Blues, he knew from where he was singing.
The young girl had little basis upon which to land her song on.
She had talent, but not the soul.

She askes because she knows the I do not know where I am from moment to moment at times.
She ask because she truly cares.
She asks if I am still alive and can I answer her call.
She asks and I sometimes cannot pick up the phone,or wish to.

We got tangled up so long ago.................and she knows life has screwed me even more than herself
And I have fallen badly as of late./
I am not sure we shall ever be together again.
I may have lost that one point of light in my life.
And I would not shame her for that.
I am fallen, and am hoping that I may get up again.

I was born shortly after he broke the charts in '57.
And was instantly dubbed little Elvis due to my shock of long black hair.
Geez, I was just born with it.

I lived thought his life like it was my own after that.
I may have died virtually when he did. My path in life has followed his in so many ways.

Why am I so eternally angry at the world around me?
Perhaps it was because I was born here without my consent to being so.
My anger was born long before I was here.
It has festered for eons before I was here to give it a voice.
And I suppose it shall remain long after I pass this scene.

Could I help the situation?

I believe that in my little way, I have.

For, like few others, I have initiated some conversation, not always positive, but I have gotten people to talk,
Or perhaps to argue. One has to start somewhere.

And anger is a double edged sword.
It often enough comes back to wound those that wield it.
I am not immune to hate or anger.
I feel it all the time.

Maybe one day it shall lessen it's grip.
Before I die, perhaps.

Calming down for the weekend.
Sorry if I was a bother to some here again.
I seem to have a way of doing that.

Time for me to become a kitten again instead of an old alley cat.

Thank you once again to all that have afforded me some space without throwing too many stones at me.
Not that I do not deserve some of what is slung at me. But, then again, none of you have walked a mile in my shoes.

If you could understand something..................
And this might be hard for some to accept.
But, what you get of my life from my postings here on Seti is a rather toned down microview of what I go through every day in real life. The struggles I go through every single day are far more difficult to deal with than what I share with you here.

I mean, like, Friday when I had the courage to actually keep my hair appointment. I stared at the clocks every minute for the hours leading up to it. I almost ditched it. I walked to the door, sat back down on the couch, and repeated this many times. And I finally told myself.............boy, you ARE gonna do this.
But when it was over, and the girl had spent and hour and a half pampering me, I was so happy with the way it turned out. I really do love the blond pixie look she gave me. I have not taken such a bold move in my personal life for so long I cannot tell you.
Some might think that such a simple thing as changing one's hairdo is not a really big thing.
But, in MY world, it was. Just a bit short of monumental.
