Server sent me a new app together with some WU's today : SETI@home v8 v8.05 windows_x86_64.
As soon as work started on these WU's, the screensaver stopped working. The new graphics app seems okay, as the graphics show up if I use the BOINC manager Graphics function.
Is the problem in the screensaver itself, and what can be done to fix it ?

In addition to the change in app you have spotted your computer has just started using its GPU and the GPU apps don't have the screensaver code. So there is nothing you can do, unless you stop using the GPU.

Tnx...but the GPU has been in use for weeks, running the cuda and SoG apps. The WU's in question are running on the CPU.

I'm aware of that....that doesn't affect the screen saver, though. This app HAS a graphics .exe file, and runs on the CPU.
Anyhow, rebooting BOINC seems to have solved the problem, so no worries now ! :-)

Not entirely true.

Raistmer made a x64 Version with graphics enabled but i`m not 100% sure which one has been released.
