Gary that's what happens when you try to discuss something with an ideologue. Are you saying that all ideologues are haters? IMO one of the characteristics of being an ideologue is an intolerance of differing viewpoints. |

Putting a mentally unstable, physically weak, known felon with uncontrolled anger issues in the white house would not have helped ... plus a few more. Cheers. |

Plain and simple I don't think liberal ideology is the problem, the problem is people and their greed. Health care in the US costs twice as much then other OECD countries. Why? Apparently because of all leaching greedy lawyers in the US. Should the US deal with that fact? Hopefully. |

But patent laws are global. I am under the impression that how long they last and what is patentible differs around the world. |

There are many more levels of leaching greedy people sticking their fingers into that same pie than just lawyers Janne. ;-) Cheers. |

#2 - And most importantly. Never give any power to those with a Fanatical Religious Belief. Or a Fanatical Belief in a Secular 'Religion'. AKA: Ideology. Sunday school. What was it that Adam ate that he wasn’t supposed to eat? . . . it was the fruit of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. |

Because overall, government is pretty corrupt and broken. Most politicians have forgotten who they are supposed to work for. And bush didn't cause the GFC how blind are you oh right your not blind but just old and suffering Alzheimer's and that's why you conveniently forgot what the Republicans did in there 8 years oh and the 90's didn't happen as you where in a recession then right . You just keep hitting your head against that brick wall one day your head may break through it umm 2nd thoughts I think your head will cave in first . |

My health plan is just to outlive you rumps. No second thoughts here. I voted for the best person to run for the office. And I shall 'suffer' the consequences of that decision with grace and dignity, even it if proves to have been the wrong choice. We have the best of all choices at the helm now. I am certain that the other alternative would have been a disaster. Now, we at least have a manageble, controlled fall. Clinton would have crashed the world, given her choice. Trump at the very least, seems to be willing to try to work things out with the other world powers without brining the whole house down at our ankles. "Freedom is just Chaos, with better lighting." #2 - And most importantly. Never give any power to those with a Fanatical Religious Belief. All religion is fanatical. So your statement applies to all believers in the God of Abraham and many others as well. Glad to see you finally have found the light. Has to do with the ability to assign moral superiority and inferiority to some abstract thing and then project that moral superiority and inferiority onto humans. Or "good" and "evil" depend upon your perspective. More properly called "desirable" or "undesirable" outcome, making the perspective more obvious. Example: The lion catches you and has you for lunch. From your perspective that is bad and undesirable. From the lion's perspective it is good and desirable. There is no absolute standard that some fictitious god has promulgated. |

All religion is fanatical. Atheism is sort of a religious faith in and of itself. I consider myself as agnostic because it's not complete belief or disbelief. I don't see how anyone can be sure of anything. As for healthcare, I pay a premium on my own because I care for my mother at home and do not have employer assistance, but my income is too high to qualify for Medicaid. The main thing I'm worried about is how mergers of big healthcare companies will affect my coverage. The U.S. government recently struck down the proposed merger of Aetna and Humana due to fear of a monopoly, and I'm not sure if that's going to be good or bad for individuals like me. Atheism is no belief in any fairy tale creature. That in itself is a belief/faith. The mind is a weird and mysterious place |
