Yesterday I did a pass of RFI removal with the current algorithm, and I scored 100K pixels. "RFI removal: standard" now uses the current algorithm.

If you look at the top-scoring barycentric multiplets, you'll see that they consist of two types of features:

1) Drifting RFI with a high drift rate, above the limit that we were using. Interestingly, this includes some Gaussians as well as spikes. We can probably tweak parameters to get rid of this.

2) Period bursts of clusters of spikes. We're going to have to take a close look at this; it's not immediately obvious that it's RFI.
