Q: Why can't they go back to pre 1994 statues?
A: Some people look better with clothes on.

You all know that I had a raccoon living in my attic for a while. He's
gone now. I trapped him and released him in a wooded area near a
river. People have been in the attic since then and assured me that
there are no baby raccoons up there, in case you might be worried
about that. I was, as were some of my Facebook friends.

This is my boy in the back of my vehicle just before we took off
for the woods.

We have all heard about the amount of damage that a raccoon can
do to a home. I'm here to tell you that's absolutely true -- they can
do a great deal of damage.

I called my insurance company and found out that my homeowner's
insurance covers damage done by a raccoon (among other critters).
I had the insurance adjuster out to look over the house and the damage.
When he was finished he handed me a check for over $8,000, with
a promise of $3,000 more once the repairs are done. This is on top
of my deductible amount which is $1,300. So, according to my
insurance company, my lovely raccoon has done over $12,000 worth
of damage to my home.

I've already had the destroyed air conditioning/heating ducts replaced.
The rest of the work will begin on Wednesday.

Feel free to use me as an anecdotal story if the subject should ever
come up.

Not as sorry as I am. I really enjoy having the raccoons come around and I didn't want one to turn out to be trouble. I still have one that comes around occasionally, but it doesn't get into my attic.

I'm sorry that sweet boy did so much damage. I'm glad you relocated him.

Well I went and did it and bought a dog. I got a female Chihuahua.
Great temper and doesn't wine and bark, plus makes get out and do things which I need to do.
2 years old and spayed.

She get up in the morning and walks out to the scooter and sits on the seat, clue #1. (I wonder if a pee run is necessary?) LOL
3 runs a day seems to be the number right now.

It really gives me something to do [/b]

I have not been stung by any Bee, but I did get chased by a Bumble Bee for a bit when I was 8yrs old and living on a hill in Mar Vista CA.

There once was a man from St. Bede's,
Who got stung on the arm by a wasp.
    When asked if it hurt,
    He replied, "No, it didn't,
But I am glad it wasn't a hornet!"
