Flies vomit their stomach contents on solid food. Digestive juices from the stomach start breaking the solid food into small pieces. They stamp their front feet to help the process. Mixed with the stomach juices and other stuff in its stomach, the fly can now use its proboscis to drink the liquid.

Cute, but isn't that first picture not a dog, but rather an Ewok?

No. It was labeled as a Dog Costume He was wearing.

Ewoks don't exist in the Marvel Universe.

LOL:)
One sad story though.
Our dog found a dead magpie chicken lying in a bush under a tree just a few days ago.
Probably a chicken that didn't learnt to fly.
It's still there but now lying just outside our balcony...
Good news is that one of it's sibling is still around.

In English we say "chick" for baby bird, not "chicken." A chicken
is a special type of bird. We eat them.

Chicken:

Very sad about the dead magpie chick. One of my cats came in with
a bluejay chick. It was alive and the parents were screaming. I took it
out and put it on my roof. I have no idea what happened after that.

By the way, a "fledgling" is a young bird that is just old enough to leave
the nest and try to fly. This is what your dog and my cat would have
had.

I hope you don't mind the English lessons!

Still have much to learn about many languages:)
I had even problem to think what a magpie chick is called in Swedish
And Google Translate was no help.
Anyways a magpie chick is called "skatunge" here.

Ewoks don't exist in the Marvel Universe.

Since Disney owns Marvel, and now Star Wars, Ewoks COULD exist in the Marvel Universe... Whether this will happen or not is strictly up to Disney...

[quote]Oh I met a duck with her ducklings today.

Saw a story on the news today saying you can get salmonella just from petting a live chicken or duck.

True. And not only salmonella!
So stay away from birds and don't let your dogs or cats get near them.
Pet them. No way!
And we a have dead magpie chicken still lying on the ground outside our balcony!

As for the duck with her ducklings I met yesterday I was five meters away.

Sorry touching an animal will not infect someone, not thru the skin, unless one is stupid enough to not wash their hands with soap and water, and stick their hands in or near their eyes, nose or mouth.

Emphasis is Mine.

Mode of transmission of Salmonella

Transmission is usually person-to-person or animal-to-person via the faecal–oral route, through ingestion of the organisms via contaminated or improperly cooked foods.

Not claiming otherwise.

I saw a fledgling the other day, the bird had a little of the baby covering still on the birds back, and the fledgling could fly, some.

Oh and on Chickens, We also eat their eggs, though not all obviously, I just bought 4.5lbs of whole egg powder, next month I don't need to buy any.

Yes. You have to eat poultry to get salmonella.
But...
Subtypes of the avian influenza virus identified in humans
H1N1 The variant probably due to Spanish illness, which killed between 50 and 100 million people 1918-1919. Still in circulation; Affects both humans and pigs. [8] The swine flu outbreak in 2009 was caused by a subtype to H1N1.
