Speaking of cows.
Here is Ferdinand the Bull.
Ferdinand is a bull in Spain who prefers to sit under a cork tree and smell the flowers than that, like the other bulls, attend the bullfights in Madrid. One day Ferdinand happened to settle on a bumblebee, and reacted by running fiercely. Everyone thinks he wants to be on bullfighting, and he was sent there. But Ferdinand would not fight the matador and was sent back home ...

Oh! Poor raccoon!!! She looks pregnant. I hope she got out of that bin.

You've really got to admire her tool use. I don't know what evolutionary pressure made raccoons, or raccoon ancestors, so darn smart. Makes me wonder....

Given their excellent problem solving abilities, it is no surprise that raccoons tend to do well wherever they live.

I would think it is the the hand-like dexterity of their front paws... using our hands for complex tasks (spurred by by walking upright freeing them for use) is one of the drivers of the growth of our brains and intelligence.

Give it a few thousand years. :^)

I agree. :-( The file was way too big. I'd recommend just posting
a link next time.

Well I'm definitely going to have to get a prescription for some new glasses, maybe in July I should have enough, the right eye is still sharp, the left has a bit of double vision, this is while reading what is on screen, I've managed to minimize the double vision in the left eye, but that's all that I can do at present.

I did find a place online where I can get glasses, plastic frames for $38, Bifocal Lens are $99, and Progressive Lens are $139, plus $29 for a standard lens package...

Glasses are expensive, $166 for Bifocals, and $206 for Progressive. If I have to I can swap June for July, I don't know about May though.

I just found this site online.

Finn

Finn's story prompted more than 120,000 people to sign a petition calling for serving animals to have the same rights as officers.

Yes. Why not?
Like Sergeant Stubby.

And Chips, Kaiser, Nemo and Smoky of course.

I was thinking about going to the optometrist soon, and getting a NEW prescription(funds permitting of course) for glasses, these frames in Green are $9, the other two are $29ea... What do you think?

Unfortunately the green frames are out of stock now, but fortunately the bifocal lenses are only $29.00, progressive lenses are $49.00.

I think this post is off topic in a Raccoons & Critter thread. Why don't you start up Vics Daily Diary somewhere and put this sort of stuff there.

Hello Friends, and welcome to the latest installment of the Critter Cafe.

If you are new to us, this is a place where Critter People come together to talk about whatever is on their critter-lovin minds.

All are welcome here. Nothing is "off topic" in the Critter Cafe, but I do ask that people be mindful of forum rules and conventions.
