Video shows Ohio officers pepper-spraying a person in a restraint chair — again

The moment Charles Wade realized he was about to be strapped into a restraint chair, he later recalled, he was filled with terror.

He was about to be booked in October inside the Montgomery County Jail in Dayton, Ohio, the same place a woman named Amber Swink had been pepper-sprayed inside a seven-point harness the year before.

But you don't understand, he had to be punished, the blue code demands it, because justice simply won't mete out the necessary punishment, we need more violence so we teach that maximum violence is the path.

Convicted
http://mynewsla.com/crime/2017/03/15/guilty-ex-la-county-sheriff-baca-convicted-of-corruption-charges/
Ex-Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca was convicted Wednesday of obstruction of justice and two other federal charges for orchestrating a scheme to thwart an FBI investigation into inmate mistreatment in the jails he ran and of lying to the bureau.

Jurors reached the verdict Wednesday afternoon, in their second full day of deliberations in Baca’s retrial. The eight-man, four-woman jury got the case Monday afternoon after hearing nine days of testimony involving more than a dozen witnesses.

Baca showed no emotion as he was convicted of all three counts with which he was charged — obstruction of justice, conspiracy to obstruct justice and making false statements to the FBI. He faces up to 20 years in federal prison, according to prosecutors.

The jury foreman told reporters that Baca broke the law “to protect his empire.”

And yes... I did arrest Police Officers, during one of my many 'interesting' jobs. In a very varied and 'interesting' lifetime.

#2 - Only finished High School, because I was the Starting Shortstop (American BaseBall) for two years. And couldn't remain on the Team, if I didn't 'Show Up' for school everyday, and (more importantly) didn't cause 'trouble'..

You mean like Al Bundy?

Understand the reaction at SRB* when Baca was convicted was - he had it coming. Of course those are the civilian employees.

Anyone want to guess how long he is going to get? Remember he took the trial because the judge so no to his extra-short plea bargain recommendation!

Yet another guilty cop.

The union that represents sheriff's deputies said on Twitter that "although the outcome is painful to accept, we must give it due regard."
Love that loaded language. You know that union thinks he is as innocent as pure snow.

I thought you Yanks have a charge on the books "Perverting the course of justice"?

It seems even coppers will do anything for the "almighty $".

"Thereafter, Mr Staley asked the internal investigators to identify the author of the first letter.
They then got in touch with and were helped by an, unnamed, US law enforcement agency. That attempt to find out the identity of the letter writer also failed."

Aw, that don't matter, it's just an ally.

Barclays boss investigated

Can't be much cop as they failed :-)

You've paid for a plane seat and then you get assaulted and dragged off.

One officer involved has been stood down, but what about the other pair?

No cheers here.

From the BBC:
"Whatever happened on the flight - and the details will undoubtedly emerge in the coming days - it was a bad day for United, Mr Leocha said. The airline had only recently been at the centre of another controversy, when a fortnight ago it refused to let two girls board because they were wearing leggings.

"This isn't really a lesson for passengers it's a lesson for airlines," he said. "The only lesson here for passengers is when security get on throw up your hands, because otherwise you're going down the aisle with a fat lip." "

Put a uniform on some people & their brain cells decrease by 95%.

1 result of this was that United Airlines lost $1.3 billion in market value after passenger is dragged off plane.

Now there's something to cheer about. :-)

Cheers.
