Play Store remembered all my previous apps and I installed many of them. Now I have to remember the usernames and passwords for all of them.

Just out of curiosity. What phone did you get?

Actually, Eric got it for me, after years of nagging on his part. I use a Nexus 5 and Eric uses a Nexus 6. We're both on Google Fi.

You see these young kids age 5-7 on the bus clutching a smartphone in their hands, and both thumbs going 19 to the dozen sending a text. And you think how the hell do they do that on such a tiny touch screen? I'm a one finger merchant on a phone, or 3 fingers and a thumb on a keyboard. Now you laugh, but I can copy type at 40 wpm, and time was when you could get a Pitmans certificate for that speed albeit on a manual typewriter.

I can do two thumbs on the small screen. I'm not the fastest touch typer. But I manage to muddle along. My iPad gets some added finger action on it's bigger screen.

I'm a ham handed one finger texting dude on my phone. And I still screw up and have to delete. I have grandkids that can do the thumb texting. The sad thing is that some schools don't teach how to write Cursive anymore.
So I think in the not to distant future you will have kids signing documents by using block letters because they were never taught Cursive.
And to take that further. What if they are not taught how to even do block letters by hand? I'm 64 years old I can remember trying to make a letter appear readable while learning to write.

I use the predictive word aid as a spelling aid.

How many people today could produce a simple handwritten thank you note for a birthday or Christmas present?

I know i can and probably lots of the people here can also , can't belive that people don't know how to write properly . Some can't for different reasons but sure most people are able to .
Then again you get a GCSE grade A for spelling your name correctly and a A* for doing joined up ;-)

LOL. I'm okay when not under a deadline. If I am, my handwriting tends to speed up & end up an illegible scrawl :-(

I admit to having the world's worst handwriting.
I blame it on going to 5 different schools before the age of 8. Each having a different style of writing an/or a different policies on using pencil or pen and ink. Ballpoints were banned in that period, you had to master the intricacies of a nib pen.

My younger brother had great handwriting until he went to medical school. By the end of his first year it was illegible. Methinks they teach bad handwriting in a class as prerequisite to become Doctor.

I'm sure there is a course in how to read doctors handwriting.
I have seen pharmacist call doctors to decipher what was written down.
