Nope.

Actually, any good Allergist will tell you that if you have asthma that you are at higher risk for pneumonia. Due to this risk, it is best to be vaccinated periodically; something like every ten years you should get another pneumonia shot. PLUS, now there's even another strain of pneumonia that Prevnar 13 prevents for those age 50 and over. It is said that if you are 50 or older that you should get the Prevnar 13 shot in addition to any prior pneumonia vaccination.

I've had my regular pneumonia shot booster several years ago; but, as I will be turning 50 June 30th, I will be getting the Prevnar 13 shot on or after June 30th. I HIGHLY recommend that you get your shots, too, Vic. I believe you've mentioned that you, (like me), have asthma. I think it would be prudent to get vaccinated.

Ok, this is complicated, but when I had it, dad would not take Me to just any Doctor, He didn't trust any Doctor who hadn't been in the Military, dad was a WWII US Army vet(and a Medic in Europe, 368th I think), He only took Me to a general practitioner, an Allergist? This was back in the 1960's.

I'll be turning 57 in July on the 6th.

Been a fun few days....had a 80+ mph windstorm last Wednesday. Took our power out until Sunday.

Now NY is *BURIED* under a gigantic NorEaster snowstorm. We easily have 11"+ on the ground and could have up to 24" by Wednesday night.

[as parked at Einstein yesterday]

Upon completion of the filming of this episode,
Autolycus' Scuba Gear was placed on display
at the Athens Diving Institute for the education
and enjoyment of future generations to come.

I hope I get to see it someday.
