What are the first 30 or so BOINC startup messages you are getting? Does it recognize your GTX 285? What version of SETI? Are you using the current default? Lunatics? If it's not current, you may not be getting MB v8 work units, which are the only kind presently available; v7 is long gone. |

With your computer(s) hidden it makes things more difficult. There have been some issues over the last month or so with getting work, however it's effect has only been on some faster systems. If you go to your account, Click on Seti@home preferences and down the bottom change whatever is selected for "Run only the selected applications Astropulsev7" and "If no work for selected applications is available, accept work from other applications?" (ie, if Yes, change to No; if No then change to Yes) and save the changes. Select Seti@home in your BOINC Manager and click on Update. Let the Scheduler ask for work at least twice (about 13min from the initial update). If still no work, change the application settings back to what they were, save them, click Update in the Manager again & see if it then starts picking up work on the next request for work. A lot of us have seen this sort of thing where one or more of our computers won't get any work for no apparent reason. A "fix" that appears to work is to change the state of the "if no work for selected applications....." flag, then force an update.
