Somebody have to pay for wealth care, infra structure, military expenditure and many other things in a country. It may be by taxes or that you pay it for yourself when needed. The latter option doesn't work. True. Tanstaffle. But the lunch menu should be chosen by the diners. Not shoved down their throats. The expenditures you list are valid, but what of endowments for 'Arts', 'Research'(shrimp running on treadmills). $900 'Military Grade' toilet seats. We need to decide where to stop being stupid with spending, not finding more to spend.
