I'm pretty certain the Prez. can't be indicted., something to do with the justice dept being an executive dept.
It still doesn't matter because in the short run what congress decides to do with it is all that matters. They can deal with it but it ain't gonna happen.

Prez can be indicted. Ask SCOTUS. Prez is not a member of Congress traveling to a session. Only persons in the USA not subject to arrest.

I'd think after Watergate and Paula Jones, people would understand he has no special status as an individual and is fully subject to the courts. His office is protected, but not the man.

Might also read the impeachment sections of the Constitution where it talks about the prez being subject to regular justice in addition to impeachment.

Mr Mueller is also an "independent counsel" as such he only half way reports to DOJ. However if DOJ were to attempt to stop him in a repeat of the Saturday Night Massacre I doubt the Prez would last a week.

Frequently the way to get rid of an unwanted employee, and you cannot or it is difficult to sack them, is to get them promoted to a position in another part of the organisation.
I have also seen where giving an employee more responsibility can help, because one, they start to learn more of the difficulties and two, they now have to start dealing with the complaints and whinging from below.

So yes, giving employee a raise.... can help, sometimes.

Oh no, his policy concerning the national budget was to increase taxes to pay down the national debt which reduced the supply of money in circulation which reduced demand. That caused employers to lay off more employees, who then had less to spend so a self feeding downward spiral was started. If he started more public works projects the results would not have been as severe. It took Roosevelt and his new deal to address the situation. Many books have been written about this topic. There is an academic field of study about it, called economics. The Nobel people think it is important enough to award a prize in it. The moral of the story is that the prudent use of fiscal and monetary policy are valid economic tools.
