However, when someone is on ignore and just posts and posts to get a reaction they end up scrolling the thread. And yes it is blank space as the scrolling was named after on more chat/BBS like systems where it was done with the return key.

If DA and the BOINC gang won't fix the ignore user function to actually remove that user completely*, well, the problem persists. It is hijacking a thread, and done maliciously to annoy and antagonize or perhaps self aggrandize. The problem is worse when done across multiple threads. It multiplies again if they start getting reactions and if they do the hijack is complete. Yes, none of the individual messages violate, but it is the totality that does. Time for Fred to do some thinking or open a ticket on BOINC for a feature request.

Here’s what McMaster said:

There’s nothing that the president takes more seriously than the security of the American people. The story that came out tonight, as reported, is false. At no time — at no time — were intelligence sources or methods discussed. And the president did not disclose any military operations that were not already publicly known. Two other senior officials who were present, including the secretary of state, remember it being the same way and have said so. Their on-the-record accounts should outweigh those of anonymous sources. And I was in the room. It didn’t happen.

McMaster says that “at no time were intelligence sources or methods discussed.” But The Post’s reporting doesn’t say that they were.

Instead, the report states clearly only that Trump discussed an Islamic State plot and the city where the plot was detected by an intelligence-gathering partner. Officials worried that this information could lead to the discovery of the methods and sources involved, but it didn’t say Trump discussed them.

McMaster’s statement that “the president did not disclose any military operations that were not already publicly known” is in the same vein — suggesting The Post has reported something that it hasn’t in order to deny something. Military operations aren’t even alluded to in the story.

The attitude of the country has been forever changed as to combat. There is a strong disdain for police action. Not just as the world's police officer but civil police. Getting these atrocities mixed into the same period as Watergate and the fight for civil liberties took a toll on the psyche. It has not recovered and may not for a couple more generations. Many refuse to believe the news. As you see that brought about tRump! Although they fail to see that he is another Nixon and their pain will be incredible when it finally is exposed to them.

As to our troops coming home, they are getting closer to calling them baby killers or some variant, every time IS uses human shields and we blow up a hospital or day care facility. It won't be long at that will be the story again.

As to veterans, the USA treats them like crap. Just look up VA scandal de jour. If it is revoking promises made via GI bill, or health care, they are being spat upon. The only thing that has changed is who is doing the disrespect and how overt it is.
