I already have a separate box working with boinc 7.7. It detects both Nvidia GTX 970s.

My current box has a pair of NVIDIA GTX 1080 hybrids. I got it to recognize the cards once, but forgot how I did that. Now it just fails to detect the cards with the error 512.

Am I missing something very obvious?

Found the fault. BOINC did not like the bridging clip...
