Well, my birthday dinner has been postponed for a week.
Lori's sister has a nasty sinus infection, just got on antibiotics for it.
And since we had a good time at Victoria's when we last went, I told Lori that we should just put it off for a week until her sister feels better.

She and her husband are very good company. They come over to watch movies and Game of Thrones with us often.

So, I would rather wait and be able to enjoy the evening with them along as well.
No matter really. The 'big event' has passed, and I shall enjoy a fine meal with them as much in a week or so as I would this Saturday.

Meow.

OH, that is so wonderful of you, Angela.
I sometimes place importance on things that in reality have little importance in life.
I misplace my priorities at times.

But you posting that, does mean something special to me.
I know we have had differences of opinion, and have had words at times.
Some of which, at least on my part, were unwarranted.
But for you to set them aside and wish me a happy birthday...............priceless.

With each crime and every kindness we birth our future.

And here, for those that those who are ignorant of one of the most significant movie franchises of the century.........
I know it did not have much literary significance, but please give it the notice that it deserved.
The story of Bella grabbed the hearts of millions or billions of viewers around the globe.
And when the inevitable end came, it brought their worlds to a crashing end.
Mine included.

I still pretend to be Bella in some of my little pretend worlds from time to time.
Odd that I do not connect with Edward in the same way, but my post in my own thread might explain that.

So, anyway, when the end came, many of the followers appreciated the manner in which they ended it.
By taking the millions to the journey home, and signifying what so many actors had contributed.
Those of us who had taken the blood-aid wanted it to live forever, like the characters involved.

Forever.............

For a thousand years, and for a thousand more..Bella.

And also, for those of you who have not followed along, I must share this.
Lori is MY Bella.
She has survived cancer, HCV, and a world of other bodily troubles.
She and I are, in our elder years, paying for what we did in our younger ones.
It is not pretty at times, but we both know when we look into each other's eyes that we understand.
When one of us takes ill, we both are sick because of it.
I shall never leave her, unless the good Lord takes me by the throat and grabs me from this earth.
Like I said, forever.

If she can survive these things, I can also, to be by her side.

My personal favorite scene?
Might be this one, it IS so hard to choose.
The final fight that shocked us all might be the other.
Vampires play baseball..............lol.

For with old age comes wisdom and knowing that several posts in a row earns me the RIGHT to buy at Rocky's.

It's a good thing I came to work, even not feeling anywhere near my best. One coworker is having eye surgery today and another is about to (or maybe has already and I haven't noticed) go home with what is probably the same cold I have.

Sleep did not come as quickly as I expected when I posted about it last night, but it did eventually and what I got of it was fairly decent. Another hour or two would have been better, but I can function, especially in the mostly seated duty position of the surgical patient. As a bonus, her substitute (just another body in the room, not expected to do all her work) is interested in trains, so we talked some when I had nothing important to do.

Sniffle cough ping.
