Sorry if this isnt in the right place, I have a question i am currently working on a seti project but according to the data info it was recorded on wed sep 09 00:18:29 2009

How come we are working on old data?

Two reasons, first to re-scan data with the latest application which is more sensitive than the old one, second to confirm the calibration of the new applications.
