Is it possible i have dual cpu pc and is it possible to use one cpu for surfing and youtube, and other only for seti. thanks |

Is it possible i have dual cpu pc and is it possible to use one cpu for surfing and youtube, and other only for seti. BOINC doesn't really have any controls for that itself. On your Windows machine you can start BOINC using start /AFFINITY. Or even simpler - use the "advanced" view on BOINC Manager, then Options / Computing Options and set "Use at most % of CPUs" to 50%.
