BOINC v7.6.33 has been available as a Beta test version since 5 Jun 2016, for those that chose to run it. There was consultation on the boinc_dev mailing list last week as to whether it should be promoted to 'recommended', and I think that all of us who replied said 'yes' - in my case, adding that it was long overdue.

The new v8.20 opencl_intel_gpu_sah (r3541) application arose because I got fed up with people blaming the Intel drivers for Skylake-generation GPU (HD 5xx) validation failures, and went out and bought one. One intensive testing weekend with Raistmer later, he found the real cause of the errors and produced a compatible application, which has been deployed at the SETI Beta site since 25 Oct 2016 (and is also available via Beta6 of the Lunatics installer, as announced on 8 Nov 2016).
